Tämä oli vain hullun hauska kirja lukea, suomi se on sellainen, jonka lapset haluavat lukea uudelleen ja uudelleen. Ei ole usein, että kirja pystyy tekemään minusta tuntemattomaksi ja kuulluksi, mutta tämä onnistui, vaikka kokemus ei ollutkaan kokonaan mukava tai helppo, kuin lämpimä ja lohdullinen silmäyksy kylmässä talvi-ilmassa, tai lieva ja lievittävä tuuli kuumaan ilmaiseksi

Kirjan tutkimus sukupuolesta käsitellään huolella ja hienovaraisuudella, mikä tekee ebook erottuvan genressä. Ei se, että kirjoittaminen on huonoa – kaukana siitä – mutta pikemminkin tuntuu siltä, että kirjailija pelaa varman päälle, nojautuen hyvin kuluneisiin kliseisiin ja ennustettaviin juonenkäänteisiin, jotka, vaikka ne ovat lohdullisia, eivät aivan saa sydämen sykkimään.

Kuitenkin, äkillinen päätös tuntui hieman suomalainen jättäen suomen langanpäitä finland mutta kokonaisuutena kirja oli mielenkiintoinen lukukokemus, jota nautin perusteellisesti.

Baseball-romaani oli mukava yllätys. Se tarjosi erilaisen näkökulman urheiluun, yhden, joka soi rakkaudelleni peliä kohtaan.
